Statement Regarding the Coronavirus

At Galway Hooker Irish Pub, the health and wellness of our customers and our team is our #1 priority. With cold and flu season upon us, as well as heightened awareness around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), please know we are closely monitoring the situation on a day-to-day basis and will follow instructions and recommendations issued by public health authorities and government agencies as needed. We are following the guidelines of the CDC and local health officials to ensure the safety of our staff and guests are our high priority. We pride ourselves on cleanliness, sanitation, and quality control.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment, we have cleanliness policies and procedures in place to help protect against the spread of bacteria and germs. Below are some of the measures we take every day to help keep our restaurants clean and healthy, as well as some tips on what you can do to protect others around you.

WHAT WE DO:
Our restaurants undergo a deep cleaning each day after hours and our servers and staff have continued regular and thorough cleaning of all tables, chairs, and condiments using disinfectant cleaning supplies. Soap and paper towels are readily available in our restrooms for hand washing to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
• Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly for at least 30 seconds with soap and water
• Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
• Cough or sneeze into a tissue or your sleeve or arm – not into your hands
• Avoiding close contact with people who are sick

For your well-being and the well-being of others, if you’re sick or showing signs/symptoms, please stay home and take care of yourself.
It’s important for all of us to remain vigilant about our own health and wellness, and to be patient and thoughtful of our customers and neighbors and those who are concerned by the Coronavirus outbreak, cold, flu and other illnesses.

Thank you for your continued support and shared efforts to help keep our community strong and healthy! We look forward to seeing you as we always do.
